Toyota Announces Temple Grandin Hire

Toyota Motor Corporation has hired Temple Grandin as a consultant in solving the automaker's accelerator and brake problems in over 10 million recalled cars worldwide. While top U.S. Sales executive James E. Lentz admitted that the cars will still accelerate without warning and won't stop with any assurance, he declared that Grandin was hard at work to make sure that drivers were comfortable when they're killed. "We consider this a step in the right direction," Lentz said, "and we can't stop until we make drivers completely at ease upon impact."
